April 2006 - Click on the You Tube video below to see the dedication ceremony of the painting "La Sangre del Hijo de Dios" (“The Blood of the Son of God”) to a small church in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. This short film clip (4 Min.) is not the best quality, but none the less, this was an extraordinary day that will forever be etched in my mind and I am sure the minds of the people that were there as well.
The paintings shown at Romano's Restaurant are original works by the chef and owner Tony Romano. His paintings are found in private collections worldwide. Romano's also represents the beautiful ceramic works of Kimberly Young. Miss Young won "first prize" in the professional cat. and also "best sculpture" award in the recent October 2006 ceramic exhibit "Fireworks" held on St.Thomas at the Mango Tango Gallery. The exhibit included potters from all three virgin islands and Jamaica.

Family room, home of Donald and Jennifer Holzworth
The image to the left is the family room of Donald and Jennifer Holzworth's new home. The two paintings, prominently displayed on both the left and right side were painted by Tony Romano. Please click on the image to view the titles of the two paintings. The Holzworth's new home was voted in October as the “best new home built in 2006” in a four county area in central North Carolina . About 5,000 people viewed the home during October of 2006.
